However, in overcast skies and indoor settings, it proved much more user-friendly. The color of the object reflecting the laser also plays a role. When directed at a black tire, the red dot appeared smaller and less visible compared to pointing it at the painted surface of a car. The reflectivity of the surface influences the dot’s brightness.
For improved visibility in bright light, Streamlight now manufactures the TLR-2 G with a green laser. The green laser appears significantly brighter than the red variant but comes with a higher cost. It’s important to note that green lasers may have some temperature sensitivity issues.

The best part about getting a Streamlight weapon light, in my opinion, is the mounting comfort. The Streamlight TLR 2 HL G weapon light is compatible with a wide variety of weapons. It easily attaches to handguns. The Streamlight TLR 2 HL G needs Picatinny and Glock-style rails for this.
