Streamlight TLR-8

With a specified brightness of 500 lumens, this model shines much brighter (and is much smaller) compared to my older Streamlight TLR-2. It boasts a declared runtime of 1.5 hours with its single CR123A battery.

Mastering the operation of the TLR-8 G-Sub takes a bit of practice, but it opens up numerous options. A brief press on the activation lever locks the light beam and laser in place, while maintaining pressure on that lever creates a “dead man’s switch” effect, turning both off when thumb pressure is released. The ambidextrous lever can be activated with either a forward push or a downward press.

My primary issue was with the small owner’s manual and its tiny print. Instead of searching for a magnifying glass, access this information on your computer by visiting this.

What’s The Difference?

With the white light included in the Streamlight TLR 7 and TLR 8, the Streamlight TLR 8 got an extra laser. The Streamlight TLR 8 differs just slightly from the Streamlight TLR 7 due to the addition of the red laser option.

So, with this additional feature, the Streamlight TLR 8 gives you the option of switching between the white or red laser and the option of using both the white light and red laser at the same time.

The Streamlight TLR 7 and TLR 8 are portable, and two aspects contribute to this finding. The first factor is the lightweight aluminum body material, which makes the Streamlight TLR 7 and TLR 8 portable. The second and most important factor is the availability of a hostler for these, which makes it much simpler for you to carry it without feeling its weight.

Downsides Of Streamlight TLR 7 Vs TLR 8

Source Of Power

The Streamlight TLR 7 and TLR 8 have only one drawback: the power supply that comes with the package. These weapon lights have always used the same old CR-123A battery. Overall, most people like the batteries, but it would be great if the manufacturer did a good replacement, which would boost the value of these weapon lights.

Just consider it: if you require that functionality, don’t pass up the opportunity to get it right away. The Streamlight TLR 7 and TLR 8 are nearly identical weapon lights, except for the price.
