The Olight Baldr Pro and Baldr Mini are two of the company’s best lights, which I will be reviewing here. I put a lot of work into this review because I’ve been testing these lights since the moment I bought them. To improve my testing and gain a better understanding of these lights’ features and operation, I looked into every little of them.

What’s The Difference?
The major difference between the Olight Baldr Pro and Olight Baldr Mini is the mode of operation. The Olight Baldr Pro includes a strobe mode, whereas the Olight Baldr Mini does not. In addition to strobe mode, there is also a difference in light output, dimensions, weight, power source, etc. You can see the details of these differences in the benefits section for a better-detailed understanding.
Potential Advantages Of Olight Baldr Pro Compared To Baldr Mini
The following are the potential differences between the Olight Baldr Pro and Baldr Mini:
1. Endurance level
The Olight Baldr Pro has an aluminum-coated body that is not easily breakable by any smashing or hitting up to a distance of just 1 meter only. That was about how much shock the Olight Baldr Pro can bear. Moreover, the Olight Baldr Pro has an IPX4 rating by which this weapon light is protected from moisture but it is not waterproof. It cannot be submerged in water, unlike other weapon lights with an IPX7 rating.

- Momentary-on: The momentary-on mode can be switched on by holding the toggle button and once the button is released the momentary is turned off. It is the mode where the light turns on and off automatically until we hold the toggle button.
- Constant-on mode: The constant-on (aka always-on) can be switched on with a single click of the toggle button. To turn it off, just reverse the procedure (pull the toggle button upward).

- Constant-on mode: This constant-on mode works the same as the one in the Olight Baldr Pro. the same way it will stay switched on until the user turns it off.
- Momentary-on: Also the momentary mode has the same working as the one in the Olight Baldr Pro.

3. Compact and lightweight
The Olight Baldr seems to be longer than the Olight Baldr Mini based on its looks and dimensions. Olight Baldr Mini is a compact weapon light, as shown by comparing the two models’ dimensions. The table provided at the beginning of the review contains the precise measurements.
The Olight Baldr Mini is not only small but also lightweight. It weighs 3.07 ounces as opposed to 4.55 ounces for the Olight Baldr Pro, which makes Olight Baldr Mini 1 ounce less heavy.
This weight includes the estimated weight of the battery as well, so removing the battery reduces the actual weight of these weapon lights. Therefore, it makes carrying the Olight Baldr Mini easy.

4. Compatibility – Mounting
The OLIGHT Baldr Pro and Olight Baldr Mini work with two distinct styles of rails, including “GLOCK” and “PICATINNY” rails, in addition to weapons. The GLOCK rail, signified by the letters “GL,” comes already installed with GLOCK assault rifles, so buying the rail is not necessary. The other rail Picatinny rail is also included in the box. These rails make mounting these weapon lights on the gun easy.

5. Performance – light output and power source
The performance of the Olight Baldr Pro is better than the Olight Baldr Mini. The Olight Baldr Pro has a 1350 lumens output while the Olight Baldr Mini has a light output of 600 lumens. Furthermore, the light intensity of the Olight Baldr Mini is low (4225 cd) while the Olight Baldr Pro has a good light intensity (16900 cd).
With the difference in the lumen and intensity of these weapon lights, the distance of these lights will have the same range difference. So, the Olight Baldr Pro has a 260 m max throw while the Olight Baldr Mini has a 130 m max throw.
The Olight Baldr Pro has a good power source with a runtime of 4 hours for the light and 45 hours for the laser. The Olight Baldr Mini on the other hand has a light delivery of 600 lumens for one minute, 29 minutes at 100 lumens with laser and without laser, and the runtime is 39 minutes.
Note: The Olight Baldr Pro and Olight Baldr Mini, both have a white light and a green laser beam.
The white light can be used separately, the green beam can also be used separately and both light and green laser simultaneously. One more important thing is that you can not use modes of operation in laser beams only.
